The National park on the Curonian Spit – a narrow peninsula, witch separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea, famous as a place of the biggest dunes in Europe. This extraordinary land called Neringa is included into a UNESCO World Heritage list of extreme beauty and fragility.
Palanga amber museum – museum‘s collection holds about 28 thousands of amber comprises, of which about 15 thousands contain inclusions of insects, spiders, plants. Amber is named Lithuanian gold.

Day 1

Trip to see ancient fortresses along the shores of the Nemunas River. Transfer to Klaipeda and excursion in Klaipeda old town: the old German fachwerk houses, the City Hall, the Neo-Gothic Post Office, Theatre Square with its statue of Annchen von Tharau and history of Memel. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2

After breakfast, departure to explore the National park on the Curonian Spit - a narrow peninsula, witch separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea, famous as a place of the biggest dunes in Europe. This extraordinary land called Neringa is included into a UNESCO World Heritage list of extreme beauty and fragility. Arrival in Juodkrante. Visit the Hill of Witches that houses a hundred fanciful and folksy wooden sculptures scattered along a forest path. Short stop at a cormorant and heron colony and at the Dead sand dunes. Continue travel to Nida resort, including the Fisherman's House, famous German writer Thom Mann's Museum, Amber Gallery, old ethnographic cemetery, neo-Gothic church and a walk along impressive sand dunes. Return to Klaipeda.

After breakfast, trip to Karkle - the main amber collection place. There you will also be told about amber history, morphology, properties and inclusions and you will se how amber is colected till our days. After that trip to Palanga - one of the most popular Lithuanian resort. Here you will visit amber museum which is situated in spacious count Tiskevicius manor house, containing 4500 pieces of amber work. Transfer to vilnius.
